FAMILY BIRTHING CENTRE |
|
St.
Margaret's Family Birthing Centre offers state-of-the-art
equipment and the expertise of a well-trained staff to expectant
parents. Deliveries at St. Margaret's take place in the
state-approved Level II Obstetric Center. Comfortable home-like
surroundings are offered in the LDR rooms (Labor, Delivery,
Recovery), as well as family waiting rooms. For information,

PEDIATRIC SERVICES |
|
Because
St. Margaret's knows that the care of children is different from
adults, we offer our Pediatric / Young Adult Services. Our staff
is specially trained to meet the needs of children from 0-17
years of age. Bedside cots for parents, spacious rooms, and a
playroom and parent lounge are all a part of Pediatrics. For

PEDIATRIC
OUTPATIENT CLINICS |

The
Pediatric Cardiac Evaluation Clinic
is
designed for any child or young adult (0-18 years) with a
congenital heart defect, murmur, or suspected heart problem.
This clinic is held once a month at St. Margaret's. Phone

The Pediatric Gastroenterology Clinic
is
designed for any child or young adult (0-18 years) with any known
diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, or for an evaluation of
symptoms in the gastrointestinal tract. This clinic is held once

PRENATAL / SIBLING CLASSES |
|
St.
Margaret's offers five-week Lamaze/Prenatal classes on Mondays,
every other month, beginning in January, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30
p.m. Expectant mothers and their partners are invited to learn
more about pregnancy, labor, and delivery, and are also given a
tour of our Family Birthing Centre. ABC’s of Prenatal Care
classes, for
women in their 1st and 2nd trimester of pregnancy,
are held on alternating months beginning in February. “Mom’s
Special Helper” Sibling Class is held the fourth Wednesday in the
same month as the prenatal class. This class is for expectant
big brothers and sisters. Both classes are taught by experienced
instructors and are free of charge. For further information, or
